The Women's Directorship Programme is the world's only cross-functional, cross-industry board preparedness programme, exclusively for female leaders. The programme is delivered by The University of Hong Kong, HKU Business School and Meraki Executive Search & Consulting. An expert in Women’s leadership issues, Karen See, co-founder of {embrace} worldwide, was invited as a guest speaker.

the solution

{embrace} conducted a full day workshop on, ‘Persuasive Communication and Conflict Resolutions’. The dynamic, interactive communication module included:

  • Hands-on communication skills development,

  • Board-relevant role-playing exercises and group work, and

  • The importance of leadership presence.

The workshop focused on helping participants contribute maximum value to their board by communicating key messages more effectively.
