Leadership Success Series with HKUST Women in MBA Network (WiMN)
the situation
The ratio of male to female MBA is 50/50 however, there is a major discrepancy with salaries as well as those in leadership positions.
Women’s greatest barrier to success is self-belief (KPMG, Women’s Leadership Survey, 2015).
Women have institutional barriers that need to be addressed, requiring greater focus on key issues mostly related to females.
the solution
In collaboration with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), {embrace} hosted a five-part series of workshops focusing on the challenges and opportunities women face in their career. Designed for women in middle management the series was about leading a happier, confident and successful personal and professional life.
Workshop topics include:
Women in leadership and barriers to success
Emotional Intelligence
Self-belief and confidence
Communicating, executive presence and putting your boldest self forward, and
Collaboration and positive relations.

Established greater self-awareness and increases emotional intelligence.
