The University is committed to increasing the proportion of women at faculty level or above.
the solution
Working closely with the Vice President, {embrace} created a comprehensive leadership program specifically designed to support female Associate Professors move towards becoming a full professor.
called HKU10 it includes:
Leadership workshops:
The role of leadership in academia,
Emotional Intelligence,
Productivity & effectiveness,
Risk taking & resilience, and
Communications, executive presence and your personal brand.
One-on-one leadership coaching; and
Comprehensive mentorship programs - matching proteges with leading scholars from across the 10 faculties of HKU.
the outcome
Following the success of the initial program in 2017, HKU10 has been extended until at least 2020 of HKU.
